AEGEAN launches the new cycle of the Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Scholarship Program

AEGEAN always committed to promote initiatives that support youth and also strengthen the aviation industry in Greece by creating new, additional, quality jobs, announces the launch of the new cycle of the Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Scholarship Program and invites young people aiming to pursue a successful career in the aviation industry, to apply until July, 7th, 2024.

AEGEAN’s Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Scholarship Program is being implemented, in collaboration with the internationally recognized and certified Olympic Air Maintenance Training Organization and offers, for the fourth consecutive time in the last two years, the opportunity for 20 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers students to complete their full training while receiving a 50% scholarship of the tuition fees and ensure their immediate professional development after graduation. For the three top graduates, based on their academic achievements, there is an additional reimbursement of all or part of their tuition fees (100%, 75%, and 50% respectively).

The selection process consists of written examination and oral assessment, while studies will commence in October 2024. Young people dreaming their future as aircraft engineers and pursuing a career in the aviation industry can apply until 7th of July 2024, through the dedicated form on AEGEAN’s website.

Upon successful completion of the program and by acquiring their license (Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License in Category B1.1) candidates will have the opportunity to start their career in the company’s Technical Base. It is to be noted that as AEGEAN is expanding its operations in order to support the aviation industry in Greece and its own growth plan, is already providing technical support services to third parties at the new Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Facility that will be officially launched within the following days.

AEGEAN’s Scholarship Programs for Pilots and Aircraft Maintenance Engineers have been established in 2018 aiming to offer the opportunity to young people to start their career in the civil aviation, one of the most dynamic and evolving industries worldwide. AEGEAN, for 25 years, has been paving the way for the aviation industry in Greece, with initiatives that support youth and at the same time enhance safety and quality for all by supporting  quality vocational education and training.
